Have YOU Experienced 4D?

The lovely London blogger Susie of Style Bubble tweeted a link to her epic video of Ralph Lauren’s 4D Experience tonight. Ralph Lauren was once again unprecedented when inviting London and New Yorkers alike to experience a visually (and scent-ually) stimulating spectacular tonight.

No ugly plastic glasses necessary, RL used architecturally mapping on their 888 Madison storefront in NY, as well as in London, to celebrate their 10th anniversary as well as the launch of their UK E-commerce site! A massive video of models strutting down the runway, polo players mid-game, and their newest fragrance wowed the public at multiple showings tonight. As an added bonus, event attendees were given a full sense experience by having RL’s newest fragrance wafted through the air during the show.

 

Congratulations to Ralph Lauren for being one of the most innovative AND classic brands!

Snapshot: Shopbop Club Monaco Launch Event + Contest!

Tonight I attended a fashion-filled night at the Club Monaco flagship store to celebrate their new e-commerce launch with my favorite online retailer, Shopbop! The collection was hand selected by Shopbop’s fashion director, Kate Ciepluch and she is ah-mazing! Now to be honest, if I had the wallet I’d buy 90% of what was in store tonight but the items that will be featured on Shopbop starting tomorrow are truly the crème de la crème of the collection.

I will be posting photos from the event including a gorgeous leopard coat, gray faux fur vest, a to-die-for shearling moto jacket and much, much more! In the past I have a bought a few pieces here and there from Club Monaco but never have I seen a collection this luxe and chic for winter in this price range. For now, you’ll just have to enjoy my snapshot of the night of what I wore to this fabulous event!

You can see my new JC Roks Wedges are totally already getting a beating as I wear them LITERALLY 24/7! My LV Neverfull which was my 21st birthday present and has amazing coloring on the handles but due to a little too many items inside, the top looks bent out of shape, eep! As for my jewelry: Vintage Versace black and gold medusa bracelet (obsessed & courtesy of my momma’s closet), H&M Gold Bangles, Vintage Gruen watch (also my mom’s now mine), and a gorgeous, gold Free People ring. You can’t see my earrings but they’re beautiful gold and opal heart earrings my Dad brought me from Italy when I was only 8 years old. I still love them!

NYFW: Tory Burch S/S 2011

Bright oranges, gorgeous prints and classic shapes filled the runway at Tory Burch for her newest collection. As I walked into the energetic, glowing room all I could hear was girl whispering to girl “omg, I would DIE for that” “that is gorgeous” “I neeeeed that come Spring” … needless to say I think it was a hit.

Tory Burch is a designer that season after season you know you can count on timeless styles that are beautiful in both shape and quality. When I think of Tory Burch, the iconic ballet flat first comes to mind, but then I think of the classic American girl. A girl who has wind-dried hair, fresh skin, and an East Coast vibe. You’ll never see the Tory Burch girl with edgy Taylor Momsen makeup or ripped leather, she’s the classy, the kept, the natural girl next door. I appreciate Tory Burch, the designer, for everything she stands for and her ability to be both a role model in the design world as well as a powerful woman.

I was lucky enough to attend this event as a correspdent for Julie of the amazing blog I Heart Heels, so of course I was paying extra special attention to the beautiful shoes! “Flat-forms” were seen ALL over the S/S ’11 runways. Get ready for a comfy season!

A absolutely LOVE this pop of coral! (It’s less red, more pink in reality).

While I personally would not wear a full white suit, I am in love with these wide leg white trousers. This look is great on girls of all shapes, where as white jeans and skinnies should be saved for a select few in my opinion.

This long slim skirt is the perfect balance of sleek, prim and Mad-Men inspired without looking like you’re at a costume party. And a bright yellow bag brings a sunny vibe into any, even gloomy, day.

Break out your crochet, high waisted trousers, and mayjor prints, the 70’s are back in a REAL way. TIP: Pick one 70’s centric piece, like these girls to have an inspired, not overkill outfit.
