Today we got our first look at Abbey Lee Kershaw for the Chanel Fall 2010 campaign. I say first, because a few months ago I happened to be in the right place at the right time around NYC’s Orchard St and see many-a camera crew and while I did not spot the Kaiser himself, i.e. Karl Lagerfeld, I did find out immediately via Twitter what I was witnessing!
Chanel’s Fall Campaign preview we can see is very industrial and an amazing balance to the heavy furs, big boots, and chunky knits that we saw cascading down the runway next to Chanel’s massive glacier.
In comparison, to Spring 2010 set in the caliente calles of Argentina, we see there is a complete 360 in terms of feel and aesthetic. I cannot wait to see the rest of the campaign especially any of the photos featuring the other model, Freja Beha Erichsen!
Stay tuned for when the rest of the Chanel Fall 2010 campaign photos are released! Bated breath, Uncle Karl, we wait with bated breath.
