Red Hot.

30 Jan

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought I’d share with you a fantastic look of the day which could be the perfect inspiration for your own February 14th plans. Valentine’s Day is a love it or hate it holiday, sometimes depending on the status of your love life, sometimes because of an extreme distaste for such a commercial holiday, but I, for one, LOVE the holiday. Single or taken, it’s such a fun day to celebrate, either romantically for 2 or with all your single girls watching chick flicks with some red wine and chocolate. It’s all about having a great attitude! Remember that the day is more about sharing your love than sharing material possessions. So while your girl will probably never complain about any piece of jewelry, or flowers you get her (please, no chocolate), she’s most likely happier to just have you in her life than anything that will die.

Ok so on to the outfit! Lauren rocked the red perfectly at The Bank nightclub in Las Vegas this past week in order to celebrate her second book. She showed off her svelte figure in a thank gosh for this man- Hervé Léger bandage dress. The neckline is still sexy but conservative enough considering how tight the dress is, and paired with the longer hemline it’s pure perfection. Remember Mariah at the Globes? When wearing a body con dress a more understated neckline and hemline are important in order to not go overboard with the sex appeal. Or if you want a short hemline, pair the body con dress with tights! Lauren finished her look with some Louboutin classic pumps, because really, when you’re wearing an eye catching color, glitter or any type of bright shoe will just overpower and ruin the look. Her look is A+ in my book and could be a contender for my Feb 14th plans.

What do you think? Would you wear this look for V-Day?!
