Monochromatic Goodness.

27 Dec

Monochromatic looks in other colors than black are becoming more prominent in a great way. This girl really paired a great gray look at the Dior show in the Tuileries. The look of a bandage dress and a sweatshirt actually looks chic not sloppy despite dressing in the classic sweatpants material and color. I can’t even figure out why this look works but on her everything is just right. Sometimes fashion can’t be processed or planned, it can just work and this is a prime example.

To make the monochromatic look work for you stick to muted colors like grays, olives, tans not so much with bright, look at me colors like turquoise especially in the winter months. Use items in your closet that are identical colors or use pieces that compliment each other such as a light army green and a deep olive. I love wearing different shades of brown as well to create a depth that will compliment mine and most skin tones. Try and it yourself!

Would you wear a monochromatic look?!
