Gratuitous Lutz.

9 Dec

So as soon as I got my monthly fix, i.e. Cosmopolitan Magazine, I was stunned to see this spread of Kellan Lutz and Samantha Basalari. First of all, Kellan has definitely been overshadowed by those other two for farrrr too long. Maybe it’s his new hair color (he used to be blonde) but all of a sudden I actually want to go see New Moon. (I have an issue with seeing movies when they first come out & I know there will be shrieking and giggling and I seem to have this awesome curse of always sitting next to the person who answers their cell phone. Ugh.)

OK back to topic: He looks hot. She is beautiful. And together it makes me want to leave the City forever and go find a deserted cabin-ranch type place to live at forever and just wear my boyfriend’s clothes and have perfectly tousled hair 24/7.

Now this spread was accompanied by some pretty awful captions such as “The coolest part about seeing a girl wear something comfortable is the smile that you can just feel coming through from inside her” but you know, I can forgive things like that because really who needs any reading when they can look at him in the third photo with those chiseled abs. He redeems himself a bit with “It’s nice to see bits and pieces of a woman exposed. As a guy, you get that mystery — especially when a dress or top isn’t too snug.” Cute.

I am definitely a fan of this spread and all of the pieces she is wearing. Chunky knits paired with not much else, leg warmers (a previous post favorite!), and all the layering a girl could want. The layering in the last photo is perfect because sometimes tons of pieces can become bulky and make the sex appeal get lost, but the way the tops are complimented by the sexy over-the-knee boots, with a girly half -up hairstyle that looks effortless (but we all know is not!) is the perfect outfit before the temps get too cold.

But let’s be honest, Kellan is the star of this spread…. Well, and his abs.
